Modest at ALL times!!!

I ran upstairs for two seconds, and came down to find a fully clothed baby girl in the tub, winter boots and all. She's taken modesty to the extreem. She makes us laugh every day.

Oh The Funny Things You Say

The week before we were going on our trip to Branson Missouri, Daiken asked, "What is a vacation?" I told him it is where we get in a car and drive and drive and drive for a very long time and then we get to a hotel and go swimming. He said, "Oh, I want to go swimming! I DON'T want to go on vacation."

We were out on a blanket basking in the sun. I pulled my pants up to my knees. Brailee asked if she could sit on my lap. "Oh no!" I told her. "I need the sun to get on my legs." She asks, "Why?" So I told her, "Because I want the sun to turn my legs a different color." She thinks about this weird comment of mine and thoughtfully asks, "What color do you want them to be?" I had to think about how to describe the color "tan", so I said, "Um, like a brownish." Shocked, she asked, "WHY?" Before I could answer she sat down, pulled her skirt, exposing her legs and said, "Well, I want my legs to turn purple!" Like she was thinking, of all the colors to pick, why would you want "brown" legs?

Upon waking one morning, Brailee sat straight up in her bed and questioned, "Hey, what happened to my dream? I don't know where it went."

All three kids were sitting at the table while I was making dinner. Daiken and Brailee were taking turns screaming and then laughing. Estee sat with wide eyes trying to figure out what was going on. Brailee finally turned to Estee and said, "Ok, now it's your turn Estee." and right then she screamed. I started laughing. Brailee asked why I was laughing and I said, "Because she screamed right on que." and then Brailee replied, "Well, I did it on B."
