For my birthday my mom signed me up for a cake decorating class! I was so excited as I always try to make cool cakes for the kids birthdays but they don't always turn out as well as they did in my head. There were only two other people in the class, so my mom decided to take the class with me. We had four classes and it was so fun to spend two hours playing with my mom each week. She had taken this same class about 20 years ago so it was nice to have her there to help me along the way. These are our cute cakes that we made. Thanks mom!!! I love you!!!

How fun! Those cakes turned out way cute!! I think that is such a good skill to have. My sister is a cake decorator and I am always jealous of the cakes she makes.

WOW! Those are great! I want to take a cake decorating class so bad. I have talked about it, but never done it. I love to make my kids cakes for their birthdays and it would be nice to kinda know what I am doing he he. Yours are great! Thanks for sharing.
