We had such a fabulous time in Nauvoo. The night we arrived at the Inn she was jumping all over, uncontrollably. She ran over to Daiken and said, "This is going to be SO MUCH FUN." We took the kids down to the temple and walked around and took pictures, then went back to the Inn and went swimming. Daiken wasn't sure about the pool, so I took him and Estee back to the room. On the way back he said to me, "Eh-ee gared, Eh-ee gared." I said, Oh, was Estee scared? He replied with an affirmative "yah." Then I was helping him take his swimming suit off when he admitted that he was scared too.
The next day we went on a horse and wagon ride through the farms to hear special stories about the saints, and it was so cold. We all were wrapped up in blankets. Then we hung out at Pioneer Pastimes then on to the Family Living Center, and then to the Joseph Smith movie, dinner, then the Randaview. We headed to church the next morning, then took a drive down memory lane for Adam as we drove through Quincy on the way to Decatur back to Grandma and Grandpa Harrop's house.
What a great weekend. We wont really have any family time this summer as Adam is studying for the bar and installing home security, so this was our one and only summer vacation. What an amazing place to spend it.

What a fun trip! And that's so awesome that you took your kids as well. Those pictures that you got of all your kids are adorable! That's so awesome to have their picture in front of the Nauvoo temple too!
What a wonderful family trip! I have never been back there, but hope to. You have the cutest family!
