Brailee was asked to give a scripture in Primary. When I asked her about it she was so super excited. She couldn't wait to get home and practice. She pulled out the piano bench and asked if she could borrow mommy's scriptures. She had me sit on the couch as she pulled a chair behind the bench, layed out and opened the scriptures and proceeded to say, "Ok class. Today we are going to learn about Jesus. She kept turning pages and "read" from each page. Of course when mommy tried to help her she wouldn't have anything to do with what I said. She wanted to do it all on her own. When the next Sunday came she stood right up and stated the reference without reservation, 2 Nephi 4:15, probably cuz I chanted the scripture all week long in hopes that she'd pick up on it. She new the first line of the scripture as well, but got shy after saying the reference, thus mommy ended up reading the verse. But we are so proud of Brailee for being brave and being excited to give the scripture in Primary.
