Family Home Evening

Out here in Indiana we are not privlidged to have a canery next door so each stake has their own canning machine and we get to do our canning at home. We just pass around the canning machine until everyone has had a chance to can their food. We decided to make a family home evening out of it. We each had jobs. Daiken's was to put the air absorber in the cans, Daddy's was to seal the lid, Brailee's was to push the cans into a pile on the floor out of the way, and Mommy's job was to lable the cans, and make sure everyone did their job and was happy. Estee just enjoyed watching all the action. Her job was to keep us smiling at her. Brailee and Daiken sure though we had a great time and felt important. They pushed the cans into one corner in our kitchen and made a whole in the middle. It became their "house". What immaginations.
