Sickness

About a month and a half ago, Brailee started with a cough. I didn't think much of it, until it didn't go away. After about a week of her coughing, the rest of us started coughing as well. All but Daddy that is. For the next three weeks we were all coughing with runny noses and the kids had fevers. The extra yukky thing is that we didn't have insurance. So we were just kind of stuck with it. Finally one Friday, after Estee had been sick for about two weeks, she started to pull at her ear. So I thought, "OK, that's the topper!" So I called the doctor and got her in. Come to find out she was, of course, starting an ear infection, but what we didn't know is that she had pneumonia. Poor girl! I'm so grateful for antibiotics!! We had been giving Daiken his breathing treatments all along, so I had the doctor check his lungs too, just to make sure. He told us to keep using the inhalers, but that he didn't have pneumonia! What a relief! But he also just told us "good luck" and take it easy. I finally went to the doctor myself a week later cuz none of us were getting better. They told me I may have bronchitis. So, I got antibiotics as well. After about a week after that, we ALL finally started feeling better. What a trip!
