Heritage Makers

My mom had her birthday on Tuesday, and for her birthday, I published two books for her. I found a bunch of boxes in their basement that had a ton of pictures of her mom when she was a baby and little girl. I also found quite a few baby pictures of my mom as well. The fun part is that my mom didn't know that any of these pictures existed. So I made one book all about her mom as a baby and little girl, and another book of my mom's baby pictures. WHAT A TREASURE. I have been SO excited about these books that we will be able to have and pass on to the grand kids so they can know their grandma and great grandma better.

I have such a passion for scrapbooking! But after preserving this heritage in a book like this, it has given me a whole new meaning and excitement for "family history" and preserving our memories and stories. A picture without a story is a memory lost.

I am now an Independent Publishing Consulting for a company called Heritage Makers. If any of you are interested in story booking and preserving your heritage contact me at capturingyou@live.com and visit my web sight, www.capturingyou.com
