Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday to the cutest 4 year old ever!
Brailee has told us for months now that when it is her birthday everyone will hide and she will walk in and we will all jump out and yell Surprise!" So Adam took Brailee on a little date while the rest of us decorated and got everything ready for the "Surprise" party. When Brailee walked in the door she jumped with fright as we all popped up out of our hiding places to yell happy birthday and surprise. It made me laugh.





Brailee's favorite thing ever is to cook. She wants to cook all day long every day. Nana got her a darling cook book with some pots and pans of her own. Devin and Lianne got her some hot pads, a wooden spoon and an apron. Let's just say she's in heaven.
I felt so bad for Brailee this year because she has been anticipating her birthday since the day after she had her last one. There is only one little girl her age in her primary class and she really has no friends. So she had about a 45 min. party with the family this year, but luckily she is only four because I don't think it bothered her too much.





Here's a little bit about Brailee:
She absolutely loves her brother and sister.
She is such a helper with Estee.
She loves to dance.
She never sleeps.
She loves to cook.
Brailee loves babies and dolls. She's such a cute little mother.
Her favorite birthday present were the pots and pans.
Brailee keeps Adam and I up late laughing and laughing.
Brailee keeps the peace in our home as she does not like to feel hurried or tense.
She is taking tap, ballet, and tumbling right now.
Brailee is super smart.
As we were driving in the car the other day, Brailee said, "Mom, I'm glad I was a baby in your tummy so that we could have children." Adam and I just started laughing and all I could think of to say was, "So am I honey."
Brailee says the most awesome prayers. There is never a prayer that remotely sounds the same as another. Brailee has an honest heart and truly prays what is on her mind.
We all love Brailee so very much and are so glad she is a part of our family.
